The artists who sing this song are Joshua Radin and Schuyler Fisk.  I’ve been listening to this song nonstop, and thought I’d share it with all of you.  It’s a touching song.

Venus & Olay Razor

I couldn’t be happier with the Venus & Olay Razor.  I received this product complimentary of Influenster* in their Love Voxbox the beginning to mid March.  It’s now April and the razor is still going strong.  The Venus & Olay Razor (www.gillettevenus.com) is a five blade razor surrounded by Olay moisture bars.  All you have to do is wet the bars which “activates” them, and you’re ready to go.  There’s no need to use shaving cream or extra soap!  The best thing about this razor is that it’s refillable, no need to buy disposable razors anymore.  The cartridges seem a little pricey compared to other Venus cartridges, but after using it for about a month now, I feel it’s worth the extra bucks.  Venus is the only razor brand I’ve ever used, and now after using this new version, I’ll never go back.  This razor gives such a smooth, close shave, and you’re safe from any nicks.  I might also add that with the purchase of this razor, you get a handy dandy hook so that the moisture bars don’t drown in the shower ;)

*Influenster is a site where you have the chance to be sent complimentary boxes of full size products.  In turn you are asked to try, review, and share your experience.  I encourage anyone to join. www.influenster.com

Apparently I Don't Know What a Skillet Is...

  • Mom: What do we have left for leftovers?
  • Me: Umm, we have the broccoli, noodles, and cheese thing.
  • Mom: I still don't remember.
  • Me: You know, the one that was cooked in the skittle.

I thought I would give a review of this really neat site called “SneakPeeq.”  This site is a place where you can buy things from jewelry to gourmet cashews at a wide range of discounted prices (average looks to be around 60% - 70% off).  There are also a variety of different badges you can earn by just interacting with the site.  These badges will earn you things such as $10 dollars off any purchase you make on the site, coupons for some extra % off, and even a free gift when you join.  Check this site out by clicking the link.  It’s absolutely free, plus you get a free gift no shipping required right away when you join.  What do you have to lose?  The gift is a $49.00 retail value… does that convince you to join?

Note: I don’t know how much longer the free gift deal lasts, so join ASAP!

Have fun SneakPeeqers!

Question

funeralwaves said: Is the Cetaphil Derma Control Oil Control Foam Wash and Moisturizer worth buying?

It’s been about a week, two times a day, that I’ve been using the foam wash and moisturizer. Sooooo it’s a little too soon to have a really good idea on how it works.  However, I can say that I feel like the foam wash does a really good job at dissolving all the dirt and makeup at night (even better than Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleanser).  That being said, it’s still very gentle, and hasn’t dried out my skin at all.  I’ve tried a lot of different face washes, and my skin’s dried out by now in the testing process if it’s going to do anything at all.  My observations on the moisturizer is also a pretty good review at this point.  Like the bottle says, it “absorbs quickly and provides a long-lasting matte finish.”  That’s saying something, because many other moisturizers make my skin more oily.  You can’t get rid of the problem entirely, but it doesn’t aggravate the issue further.  I will also add, I do use a Burt’s Bees Rose Water and Glycerin Toner between the washing and moisturizing steps.  I love it, because it’s gentle on the face, and doesn’t sting.  It’s here to stay with any routine I use.

Worth it? ehhh maybe, what works for me may not work for you and vice versa.  Give it a try if you’re really interested, and if it doesn’t work for you don’t buy it again.  Who knows, maybe it’ll be worth the money?

Hope this helps!
